Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit our website. They help us provide you with a better experience by remembering your preferences and understanding how you use our site.
How We Use Cookies
FlintEdge Stone uses cookies and browser storage for site operation, security, account access, quote lists, and limited first-party analytics.
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly and cannot be disabled. They include:
- Session cookies: Maintain your session while browsing
- Authentication cookies: Keep you logged in to your account
- Quote-list storage: Browser local storage remembers products you add to a quote list
- Security and abuse prevention: Support fraud controls, bot filtering, and session integrity
Functional Cookies
These cookies enhance your experience but are not essential:
- Preference cookies: Remember your settings and preferences
- Location cookies: Remember your delivery address for estimates
First-Party Analytics Storage
Session storage holds a random session identifier used to count visits. Analytics retain sanitized page paths and limited campaign tags, not ordinary URL query strings. Sensitive paths are skipped, common email/token patterns are redacted, full user-agent strings are not stored, and stored IP addresses are anonymized.
Third-Party Cookies
We use services from third parties that may set their own cookies or local storage entries:
- Cloudflare: Site delivery, security, and bot/abuse controls; Cloudflare may set essential security cookies
- Mapping providers: Delivery-distance requests are made by our server and generally do not set a browser cookie
Online payment checkout is disabled, so Stripe is not loaded by the ordinary public quote flow. We do not currently load non-essential advertising tags, heatmaps, or session-replay tools by default.
Managing Cookies
You have several options for managing cookies:
Through Your Browser
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to:
- Alert you when cookies are being set
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Browser-Specific Instructions
Impact of Disabling Cookies
Disabling certain cookies may impact your experience on our website:
- You may need to log in every time you visit
- Your quote list may not persist between sessions
- Some features may not function properly
- Account access and some delivery-estimate or quote-list tools may not work correctly
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no consistent industry standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted, so our Site may not respond to DNT signals.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
