About Sand Products
Sand should be selected by use case, gradation, and cleanliness. Concrete sand, masonry sand, coarse road sand, and fill sand are not interchangeable when a job has performance or spec requirements.
Local by design: Sand is usually one of the most freight-sensitive products. Delivered pricing is strongest near the active supply point that stocks the correct sand.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order for FA-A Sand?
The minimum order is 12 tons. This helps us keep prices low by ensuring efficient delivery loads and keeps cost per ton cheaper than most rock yards.
What is FA-A Sand best used for?
Sand use depends on gradation and cleanliness. Concrete sand, masonry sand, and fill sand are not interchangeable, so choose based on the job and send the spec if one applies.
How much Fine sand, no rock FA-A Sand do I need?
Sand quantities depend on application, depth, compaction, moisture, and the sand type. Estimate from cubic yards first, then convert to tons using the product density.
For concrete, masonry, DOT, or engineered work, send the spec or mix requirement before ordering so the right sand can be confirmed.
Where do you deliver FA-A Sand?
Delivery is quoted from the nearest active supply point that stocks the product. This material is freight-sensitive, so it is usually best sold locally or regionally instead of on long hauls.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is typically 3-5 business days after quote confirmation, depending on product availability, route scheduling, location, and current demand. Need it fast? Call us at 913-229-6636 to check availability for expedited delivery.
Do you offer installation?
We specialize in material delivery. We recommend hiring a local landscaping contractor for installation services.
How do you keep prices competitive?
We focus on bulk delivery and transparent pricing. Delivered pricing is based on your ZIP code, the nearest supply point that stocks the product, and your order size. For large project quantities, request a custom quote for pricing and availability.
What space do I need for delivery?
Our delivery trucks require adequate space to safely unload a full truckload (up to ~26 tons) of rock. Please ensure:
- Access: A clear path wide enough for a semi-truck or large dump truck (minimum 12 feet wide)
- Overhead clearance: At least 14 feet for power lines, tree branches, etc.
- Ground conditions: Firm, level ground that can support a fully loaded truck (up to 80,000 lbs)
- Dumping space: Enough room for the truck to raise its bed and dump (requires approximately 30 feet of overhead clearance when dumping)
Important: If access is limited, please let us know when ordering. We may be able to arrange alternative delivery methods or smaller trucks for an additional fee.
